The Bible
We believe that The Bible is the living Word of God and the final authority for the church, our faith, and our life.
God
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and is infinite and unchanging in His love, holiness, power, justice, and goodness.
Man
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth out of nothing through the power of His Word. And He created us - male and female -as His image bearers.
Purpose
We believe that our purpose is - in the end - that we might glorify God, and that we might be with and enjoy Him forever.
Sin
We believe that all of us have sinned in that we have failed to live up to God’s standard of perfection. And God being perfect not only in His love, but also in His justice, must punish sin, and the price of our sin is eternal death and separation from God.
Jesus
We believe that God in His mercy sent His son into the world to redeem and save His people. He took on flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus was able to satisfy the demands of the law and therefore became a perfect sacrifice for us. On the cross, Jesus suffered for our sins - past, present, and future - and having taken our sin upon himself, offers His righteousness to us so that we may come before the Father blameless and have eternal life in Him.
Salvation
We believe all that is necessary to receive His salvation is to believe and put our faith in Jesus Christ alone for that salvation.
Resurrection
We believe that Jesus - having given His life for us - also took His life back up. After three days, He raised himself from the dead, ascended to heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father where He rules and reigns over all things.
Eternal Life
We believe that Jesus will return one day in all His glory as Judge and King, not to suffer as before, but to end all suffering. He will cleanse the world of sin and injustice, and restore everything to God’s original design and purpose. He will create a new heaven and a new earth, and we will all be resurrected - those who put their faith in Him to eternal life.
